The Senior Class Officers work each year in partnership with Student Affairs, the Office of the Chancellor, and the Wisconsin Alumni Association & Foundation to create an unforgettable Senior Class experience. This includes helping to plan both winter and spring commencement ceremonies, select the Class Gift, plan senior-inspired events, and advocate for the entire class. These roles have no affiliation with ASM.

SCO has two elected positions: President and Vice President. There are also four appointed positions: Communications Director, Events Director, Philanthropy Director, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Director, and Engagement Director. Each of these positions has defined responsibilities and expectations.

All students in a University of Wisconsin-Madison undergraduate program with at least eighty-six (86) credits by the start of the fall semester 2024 and with anticipation of receiving their degrees fall 2024 or spring 2025 are eligible for elections and appointments to be a SCO. Any candidate considered for election/appointment may have their eligibility, enrollment, and application for graduation questioned by the Office of the Registrar.
