The Senior Class Officers work each year in partnership with Student Affairs, the Office of the Chancellor, and the Wisconsin Alumni Association & Foundation to create an unforgettable Senior Class experience. This includes helping to plan both winter and spring commencement ceremonies, select the Class Gift, plan senior-inspired events, and advocate for the entire class. These roles have no affiliation with ASM.
The roles of President and Vice President are elected by their peers. The remainder of the Senior Class Officers are appointed.
All students in a University of Wisconsin-Madison undergraduate program in good academic standing with at least eighty-six (86) credits by the start of the fall semester 2025 and with anticipation of receiving their degrees fall 2025 or spring 2026 are eligible for elections and appointments to be a SCO. Any candidate considered for election/appointment may have their eligibility, enrollment, and application for graduation questioned by the Office of the Registrar.
All Senior Class Officers are expected to abide by the articles and regulations outlined in the SCO Constitution.
