Biography

Hometown: Hyderabad, Telangana, India

Major/Certificate(s): Food Science, Accounting Fundamentals

Growing up in Hyderabad, India, Rachit traveled far to join UW–Madison to pursue a degree in Food Science with a certificate in Accounting Fundamentals. He quickly found himself drawn to leadership and campus life, serving as President of Wisconsin Hoofers, a role rooted in energy, attention to detail, and a genuine love for building community. Professionally, Rachit has gained hands-on experience at the Center for Dairy Research and at Dadu’s, his family’s Indian sweets and snacks business, where he continues to explore food manufacturing, quality, innovation, and growth.  

As the special events chair, Rachit is excited to bring the senior class together and create experiences they can remember.
