What qualities and experiences make you the ideal candidate for this position?
I know I am a strong candidate for Class of 2027 Vice President because of my commitment to improving student life and my experience working with campus organizations and student leadership. Through my work with the Associated Students of Madison (ASM), I have gained hands-on experience advocating for student needs and collaborating with university stakeholders, including contributing to initiatives focused on improving late-night transportation accessibility and safety for students. I also co-founded the BridgeUSA chapter at UW–Madison, where I help bring students together to engage in respectful dialogue across different perspectives. These experiences have strengthened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, and I am excited to use them to advocate for and represent the Class of 2027.
If elected, what are your plans for the Senior Class Office?
If elected, my goal in the Senior Class Office would be to bring greater unity and connection within the Class of 2027. Through my experience with BridgeMadison, I have seen how meaningful dialogue and shared experiences can bring people together across different perspectives. I hope to apply that same approach by helping create events and initiatives that connect students from different majors, backgrounds, and organizations. Senior year should be a time when our class comes together, and I want to help build a strong sense of community as we celebrate our final year at UW–Madison.
Is there anything else you would like to share about yourself?
I’m grateful for the opportunities, lessons, and experiences I’ve had during my time at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and I would be excited to contribute to the community that has shaped my college experience. Go Badgers!!
