Having made her way to Madison from Green Bay, WI, Lynda brought her love for football from Lambeau Field to Camp Randall Stadium. As a first generation college student double majoring in Neurobiology and Psychology, she stays active on campus in a number of ways outside the classroom. As co-founder and executive board member of the Undergraduate Chemistry Student Association (UCSA), she shows a passion for creating a community where students can support one another while promoting academic success. This enthusiasm for connection among students also prospers in her work within the Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) where she mentors underrepresented students on campus and helps ease their transition into college. Lastly, her work at the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation has helped close gaps in science education in local Madison communities. When her time at UW-Madison comes to a close, Lynda plans on attending medical school with the goal of breaking down barriers in the healthcare field and making advancements in patient care.
