What qualities and experiences make you the ideal candidate for this position?

My leadership experiences and campus involvement have prepared me to represent our senior class. I currently serve as Vice President of the Homecoming Committee and Volunteer Coordinator for the Wisconsin Black Student Union, where I help organize events, coordinate with team members, and bring students together. These roles have strengthened my communication, organization, and leadership skills.I have also worked in roles that require strong interpersonal skills, such as my position as a front desk representative at the Fluno Center and previously as a server at Olive Garden. These experiences have helped me learn how to connect with people and respond to different needs. Most importantly, my involvement in organizations like the School of Business Multicultural Center Advisory Board and the Black History Month Committee has shown me the importance of inclusivity and representation on campus. These experiences motivate me to help create a senior year that celebrates every student and strengthens our class community.

If elected, what are your plans for the Senior Class Office?

If elected, our goal is to create a senior year that reflects the diversity and spirit of our graduating class. We want to focus on inclusivity, memorable experiences, student voice, and class unity. We hope to organize events that welcome every senior and celebrate the many cultures and communities on campus. Senior year should feel special, so we want to create fun events, meaningful traditions, and opportunities for seniors to celebrate their achievements together. We also want to prioritize student voice by gathering ideas through surveys and suggestions so that events truly reflect what our class wants. Most importantly, we want to bring seniors together and strengthen connections before graduation so that our final year is filled with celebration, community, and lasting memories.

Is there anything else you would like to share about yourself?

One thing that defines me is my commitment to building community. Throughout college, I have been involved in leadership, volunteer work, and mentoring opportunities that focus on supporting others and creating meaningful connections. I believe leadership is about service and listening. My goal is to represent the voices of our classmates and help create experiences that bring our class together. As we approach graduation, I want every senior to feel proud of the journey we have shared. I hope to help create a year filled with celebration, connection, and memories that will last long after we leave campus.
