Biography

Hometown: Cottage Grove, MN

Major: Kinesiology/ Health Policy and Gender & Women’s Studies

Originally from Canada and now proudly representing Minnesota, Olakunle Ojo serves as the Senior Class Vice President. His journey has been defined by a deep commitment to leadership, inclusion, and student advocacy.

Currently, Olakunle holds the role of President of the African Student Association and serves as the Kinesiology Representative on the Policy Committee. In these positions, he works closely with students, faculty, and administration to enhance the overall student experience.

Bringing a fresh and dynamic perspective rooted in community empowerment, Olakunle has an extensive leadership background. This includes his involvement with the BLK PWR Coalition and his service as President of the Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. These diverse experiences have equipped him with the tools to foster a senior year that is not only memorable but also inclusive and impactful for every student.
