What qualities and experiences make you the ideal candidate for this position?

Qualities and experiences that make me an ideal candidate for this position include my leadership and communication skills. I have experience founding and building a student organization from the ground up, which taught me how to plan successful events, promote them effectively, and guide an organization toward its goals. Through this experience, I learned how to coordinate with team members, delegate tasks, and keep everyone aligned with the organization’s mission. Starting an organization also required creativity and strong communication. I had to find ways to attract members, advertise events, and engage the campus community. These experiences helped me become confident in sharing ideas, working with different people, and making decisions that help an organization grow. 

If elected, what are your plans for the Senior Class Office?

If elected, I want to create more fun and inclusive events for the senior class so that everyone feels like they are part of the experience. Senior year is a really special time, and I want to make sure we take advantage of it by creating moments that bring people together. My goal is to introduce new senior traditions that students will look forward to every year, while also keeping events that help seniors celebrate all the hard work they’ve put in during their time at UW. I also want to plan events that appeal to different groups of students so that everyone feels welcome and included. Whether it’s social events, themed celebrations, or opportunities for seniors to connect before graduation, I want to make sure our class has chances to build memories together. By creating engaging events and new traditions, we can make our final year at UW something that everyone remembers and feels proud to be a part of.
