Alvarez, Amelia

From Boise, Idaho, Amelia is a political science major pursuing certificates in education policy, sports communication, and gender and women’s studies. Throughout her time at UW–Madison, she has embraced every opportunity that’s come her way, dedicating herself to leadership, service, and community engagement across campus.

Dadu, Rachit

Growing up in Hyderabad, India, Rachit traveled far to join UW–Madison to pursue a degree in Food Science with a certificate in Accounting Fundamentals. He quickly found himself drawn to leadership and campus life, serving as President of Wisconsin Hoofers, a role rooted in energy, attention to detail, and a genuine love for building community. 

Gitau, Nadia

A proud first-generation Badger, Nadia is majoring in Neurobiology and Philosophy. She is deeply committed to the interface of her studies, particularly in medical ethics and community efforts aimed at reducing healthcare disparities. Nadia serves as an Advising Fellow with MatriculateUW, an educational equity-focused student organization that provides college advising for underrepresented youth, and volunteers at the American Family Children’s Hospital.

Liriano, Genesis

Genesis Liriano is a senior currently studying Education Policy and Community & Organization Development with certificates in History and Environmental Studies. Growing up in New York City helped her develop a sense of wanting to create community and spaces of inclusion.

Perkins, Stephen

From Milwaukee, Stephen is a finance major passionate about leadership, service, and building community at UW–Madison. He is involved with the Mercile J. Lee Scholarship Program, where he serves as Social Co-Chair and a Big Sib mentor for incoming students.

Wang, Katie

From the redwood coast of Northern California, Katie is pursuing a Health Promotion and Health Equity major, dedicating herself to education and advocacy. She fell in love with UW–Madison’s vibrant community and “work hard, play hard” philosophy, serving as President of the American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) and as a Peer Learning volunteer teaching physiology to fellow students.
